An integrated cold plunge versus chiller decision should compare two complete layouts. Elevn’s integrated cold plunge contains a built-in 1HP chiller and double filtration in one bath, listed at 84 × 200 × 75cm externally. A separate chiller needs its own suitable position and a compatible bath connection. Choose between those arrangements by considering the space, commissioning and access for ongoing maintenance, rather than counting how many product boxes are involved.
Sketch the integrated equipment as one installation
The integrated model is listed as G9, with a stainless-steel interior, timber-clad exterior, ozone water-care equipment and Wi-Fi app controls for compatible iOS or Android devices. These features bring important components together, but the bath still needs the installation conditions and service access described in its manual.
Draw the 84 × 200cm exterior in the intended area and request the required working clearances. Include entry, drainage, ventilation and access to the filtration and cooling systems. A single exterior does not mean the installation can be placed tightly into any available gap.
A separate chiller needs another deliberate position
Elevn Chill is a separate water chiller listed for compatible systems up to 300 litres. Its connection instructions require a primed circuit and the required water flow. Its location needs the dry, ventilated conditions and splash clearances specified by its manual.
Ask for the installed dimensions and working space before drawing it beside a bath. The published 47 × 47 × 69cm dimensions are packaged measurements, so they are not a reliable substitute. Include the route of the approved connections in the arrangement without inventing hose sizes, fittings or clearances.
Match the actual bath rather than the category
Aether has an approximate listed volume of 227 litres, but volume alone does not confirm Chill compatibility. Fittings, flow and environment still need checking for the exact bath and setup. Nordic is listed at 320 litres, above Chill’s published up-to-300-litre capacity.
If you already have a bath, provide its exact model and documentation to Elevn before selecting a chiller. If you are choosing both products, ask for confirmation of the proposed combination. The separate layout should be based on a supported system rather than two appealing products placed together on a sketch.
Decide which arrangement you want to maintain
The integrated plunge’s manual-led commissioning covers filling, priming, cooling and filtration, with ongoing filter, water-chemistry and ozone instructions. A separate system has its own bath and chiller maintenance requirements. Ask who will manage those tasks and where the relevant components can be accessed.
For example, a dedicated equipment area may suit an integrated installation if the required clearances remain available. A separately matched arrangement may make sense when the bath and dry equipment area have distinct locations, provided the approved connections and environment allow that layout.
Compare the cold-plunge range on confirmed requirements for the complete system. Integrated can mean equipment housed together; separate can mean equipment positioned independently. Neither label replaces a model-specific plan for installation, connection and ownership.
Consider the maintenance route with the room in everyday use. If a storage unit or garden furniture would need moving to reach equipment, include that in the plan and check it against the manual’s clearances. An integrated exterior can make the layout look tidy, while a separate unit can make components more visible; either arrangement still needs a deliberate, accessible place for the required tasks.
